Chicken Rice Corner Watertown

There is a new chicken and rice joint that has opened up at Watertown, and today was the day that I gave it a shot. Is it possible for Watertown to redeem itself after years of disappointment, let’s find out.

I ordered the Nasi Lemak and a lemon iced tea, not the bottled stuff but something that came in a cup, so it was probably that powdered stuff mixed with some water. Food was $12.50 and the drink $4 which is a mixed bag of good value for the food and a bit steep for powder + water.

I 100% took a photo and am not using a stock photo from the restaurant on UberEats, I am a professional and would never forget to do this.

Nasi Lemak

This is delicious. — Pickles

I would highly recommend this place and give it five out of five pickles. The nasi was soft, fluffy and coconutty and the lemak was flavourful. But seriously, chicken on point, sambal delicious, rice as previously described was good and the portion size was great. The iced tea was also refreshing and even though it should probably be $2 I would get it again.

Next time I’ll try the satay chicken and rice, and maybe some baos.
